What equipment would I need?
The Thermalist Method is a contrast therapy method (cold and heat + breathing techniques).You need access to cold water: open water, rivers, cold water plunges, cold showers. To get the benefits of the heat, these modalities work: Sauna, steam sauna, hot showers.
Is this course suitable for beginners or experienced to thermal therapy practices?
Yes, this is suitable for beginners as well as experienced. The approach is new, but even experienced people who have done cold or heat therapy for many years, have expressed a transformative experience in their health.
Will I receive a certification upon completion?
No, this is not a certification. Please check out the Thermalist Method Instructor certification.
Who should not practice cold and heat exposure?
Remember to always measure your blood pressure before you start. People with heart disease, unregulated blood pressure are not advised to do cold nor heat exposure. Pregnancy is another reason to avoid it.
